As I mentioned yesterday, we're getting ready for the next General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend. We believe that there are prophets and leaders that have been especially called by God to teach us and lead us and it's an opportunity for people all around the world to hear the word of God through His servants.
So how does that relate to food? Well, In the church we often talk about feasting on the Word of Christ. This is a chance to do just that. I love it because Conference really is a feast with so many good things to fill up on and nourish our Spirits! Working on getting the house ready today and then I plan to take it easy, pitch our tent to the prophet and get ready for some delicious spiritual food.
